FM meets CEOs, soothes demand concern
Just before the annoucement of GDP growth figures for the first quarter of this fiscal, India's top industrialists met the Finance minister P Chidambaram to convey their concerns and hope for some cheer. According to K V Kamath, MD & CEO, ICICI Bank, the biggest concern for the industry at the moment is related to fall in consumer demand as well as the spiraling interest rates.
