FM upbeat on meeting the fiscal deficit target
Political circles are rife with rumors that the finance minister should resign. But P Chidambaram is still sticking to his guns. He maintains he will be able to meet the fiscal deficit targets. He says that fiscal deficit numbers always improve towards the end of the year and the government will do better than its budget estimates.
