Fuel crisis in WB, talks fail
Public transport in Kolkata four adjoining districts was severely hit following an indefinite strike by oil tankers association seeking higher transportation rates. Talks between the West Bengal Tankers' Association and major oil companies to end the stir, which entered the fifth day on Monday, failed, even as petrol stations went dry and aviation fuel stocks are set to run out in another five days.
