Good monsoon beneficial for FMCG sector
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted that nationwide rainfall during the season is going to be normal which indicate towards good agriculture production during the summer growing season. Firms like Britannia and Godrej are hopeful that good rainfall will translate into a rosier picture by putting more money into the hands of rural consumers.
