Government approves new urea policy

First, it was the gigantic subsidy of Rs 1 lakh crore announced in the budget and now it's the new urea policy that has got the cabinet approval. The new policy will offer manufacturers up to $425 per tonne as compared to just $350 earlier. This comes as a big boost at a time when international prices are touching a high of $800/tn.
