Govt set to finally unveil 3G policy

The high end 3G services, which will allow data to be pushed through mobile phones at super speeds, will finally make a call into India with the government all set to announce the new 3G policy by Friday. But the policy will be a lot different from what was initially proposed. The government has doubled the minimum bid amount for 3G licence and also decided to allow foreign players who don't have a telecom license in India to bid.
