HUL's soap opera: Lux in, Liril out
Ever since the 80s' Liril ads have been catching the country's fancy like no other and while the Liril girls have seen their careers peak, the soap brand has consistently been losing its fresh appeal. No wonder, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) has now decided to go slow and take the once cult brand out of most retail shelves.
