ICICI Bank reports robust performance
Banking major ICICI Bank Ltd posted a 23.64 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 640.08 crore for the quarter ended December 2005. The total income grew 45.69 per cent to Rs 4762.78 crore from Rs 3269.09 crore during the corresponding quarter last fiscal. Non-interest income rose to Rs 1011 crore as against Rs 692 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal.
