'Idea' to enter capital market
It's an idea whose time has come because Idea Cellular, the telecom venture that Birlas got after a long battle with the Tatas, is finally entering the capital market through its IPO. The Birlas plan to raise about $500 million and with road shows that have already started in Hong Kong and Singapore, Kumar Mangalam Birla is betting big on this idea.
