IIP data brings brief relief to industry
The industrial production in September showed a slight rebound from August. While this does provide a brief relief to the industry and the policy makers, the consensus is that the trend of weakness could intensify in the months to come. The Indian economy is in for a rough patch, but along the way the industry seems to have had a smooth ride in September.
