L&T expands its presence in realty space

At a time when the real estate scenario is looking bleak, the high profile Rs 2,000 crore project awarded by City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra is just one of the real estate ventures for L&T. The company is using its construction expertise to bag large contracts in realty apart from doing solo projects. In fact, the management says there is tremendous value which will be unlocked in this space despite margin pressures.
