Nalco, Tata in talks to build aluminium plant in Africa
With global metal markets red hot Ratan Tata, Chairman of the Tata Group, is planning to add aluminium to his steel portfolio and his proposed aluminium venture will be in South Africa.NDTV has learnt that Tata's South African unit is in talks with National Aluminium Co, India's second-biggest producer of the metal, to form joint venture to set up a 1 million tonne aluminum plant in South Africa.
