New dip in Indian consumer confidence
The consumer wallets are getting lighter by the day, as prices are rising and rents are soaring but the salaries are not exactly keeping pace. All this means that consumer sentiment in India is under pressure. A new index of consumer sentiment launched by the Boston Analytics group shows signs of a significant drop in consumer confidence over the last 5 months.
