No steel price hike right now
The Minister for Steel, Ram Vilas Paswan, has managed to do it again. While maintaining that the government will not fix prices, he has managed to convey to the steel companies that it will not be a good idea to hike prices even though the deadline for holding prices ended on August 7. There was fear that steel prices will go up as companies maintained that margins are under pressure and global prices has gone up significantly.
