It is ironic that despite being a major refining hub, India at the moment imports most of its finished petroleum products. The reason probably is becuase RIL’s export oriented unit (EOU) refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat, never wanted to sell its products in the domestic market due to zero incentives.
