PM's warning on financial crisis
Warning that the global financial crisis may hurt Indian economy, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said the financial crisis would be severe and prolonged. He said the credit squeeze has hit banks and companies and the global uncertainty is damping investment sentiment.
