Policies not conducive for foreign banks: Nayar
Citigroup's India chief Sanjay Nayar has indicated to India's policy makers that all is not well with foreign banks operating in India. In a tone that was more than candid, the top honcho has questioned the existence of big foreign banks in India when the policy environment does not provide them an equal footing with public and private sector banks.
