Poonawala's stake in Orchid financial in nature
Orchid is finding it hard to stay out of headlines, as less than a month after Malvinder Singh, CEO of Ranbaxy, came close to acquire the company but stopping short of it by forming an alliance. There is now news of another company led by an interesting promoter like Cyrus Poonawala acquiring over 7 per cent in the company.
