Pyramid cries foul, but who's listening?
Even as Satyam-Maytas deal controversy fails to calm down, a fresh controversy has been brewing where Chennai based theatre chain company Pyramid Saimira has been the subject of much attention over the past two days. Pyramid Saimira has said that in a letter market regulator Sebi has asked its chairman to make an open offer for buying 20 per cent stake in the company at Rs 250 per share.
