RCom-MTN deal likely in early July
Anil Ambani-led Reliance Communications and South Africa's MTN are likely to finalise a deal by the first week of July, with the former expected to hold about 40 per cent stake in the estimated $70 billion merged entity. According to sources close to the development, both companies have been engaged in exclusive talks since the last week of May. A final shape to the deal may surface at the end of the 45-day exclusivity agreement that ends on July 8.
