Reddy for control of capital inflow
RBI Governor Y V Reddy knows how to draw attention and making his first speech of 2008 he did just that highlighting the biggest policy challenge of the year that of managing capital inflows. The RBI governor pointed out that capital flows continue to be heavy and volatile making it urgent for monetary policy to respond in a manner that helps maintain stability in the Indian economy.
