RIL-RNRL row: Govt pitches for fertilizer, power

The production date of Reliance Industries' gas from the east coast of India is coming closer, but there is still no solution to its legal battle with Reliance Natural Resources. The biggest affected party in this tussle is the Indian government, which wants to make its stand very clear on the pricing aspect and seeks an assurance from the High Court that the interim stay on gas sales will not impact the starving fertilizer and power industries.
