Rise in railway freight hits North East's handloom industry
An almost 50 per cent increase in railway freight has hit North East's most critical sector, the handicraft and handloom industry. Artisans and entrepreneurs are now saying they would rather engage in other businesses. Naren Das has been bending the cane for the last 25 years.
