Sensex crashes below 11K
The benchmark index plunged below the 11K levels as selloff continued in global markets. Consumer durables, IT, metal and realty stocks were the worst sufferers in the carnage on the BSE. The BSE-30 Sensex was hovering around the 10,950 levels, down over 700 points, while Nifty around 3400 levels, down over 200 points.
