With sponsorships ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 per gate the humble pandal becomes a gateway to profits for puja samitis. ''Sponsorship is very profitable for us. It helps us cut down on wasteful expenditure,'' said Utpal Ghosh, Member, Durga Puja Committee.
