State govts seek royalties for mining
Mining is shining for investors and state governments that have seen prices of iron-ores go through the roof want a share of the spoils.Every day the ore that comes out of the ground gets costlier and so a committee set up to suggest ways to change the structure of royalties that governments earn from mining is expected to suggest an ad-valorem formula.
