Steel defies government intervention
Steel remains undeterred even as the government continues to threaten the industry with stringent steps against price hikes.But it cannot be the same for too long as the cabinet committee on prices is expected to meet next week and their prime focus this time will be the steel sector. According to Commerce Minister, a ban on the exports of steel cannot be completely ruled out.
