Tangardihi coal block: PMO bats for Hindalco
Frustrated by delays over allocation Tangardihi coal block in Orissa, the A V Birla Group now has a new friend in the prime minister's office, who is going all out to make sure that the Birlas get their mine. NDTV has learnt that the PMO has stepped in to clear Hindalco's application for the Tangardihi block, which the company needs for hiking the captive power generation capacity for its Hirakud smelter.
