Tata's patience tested
The Trinamool's gherao of the Tata Motors factory is still weeks away but an alarmed state government sent its home secretary and the director general of police scurrying to Singur to evaluate the situation on the ground. "Recently there have been some disturbances. Workers have had trouble coming to the factory but now Tata Motors, the administration and the police will fix the problem," said Home Secretary, Ashok Mohan Chakraborty.
