India Fashion Week to begin Apr 5

Apart from the Lakme India fashion week, this year will also see the India fashion week (IFW) organized by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI). Sixty-five designers from all over the country will be showcasing their fall winter collections in the seventh IFW beginning April 5, 2006. The fashion week this time will not be for a week but only five days. Also for the first time, multi-ramp fashion showings will be held to save time between consecutive shows.
