Erring Maharashtra MLA goes missing
Former Maharashtra minister, Dharmrao Baba Atram, is nowhere to be found despite being cleared for arrest. Atram has been booked for poaching the endangered chinkara in the forests of Baramati in Pune district. A local court has already turned down Atram's plea for anticipatory bail. And as the clamour for his arrest grows, Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil, who belongs to Atram's party, is passing the buck.
