Two tigers killed in Assam
Two more tigers are dead and gone at the Rajiv Gandhi National Park in Orang, a four-hour drive from Guwahati. Ironically they were not the targets of poachers. Instead, they were poisoned by villagers, most of whom have encroached along the fringes of this National Park. The settlers are alleged illegal Bangladeshi migrants.
