Fighting disability: Radio show for visually impaired
What does one do when precious information on eye and blindness is either not available, or is out of date. One can either blame the system that excludes the visually impaired or find a solution. That is what two blind individuals did, when they launched a radio programme for the blind and connected it to a helpline. It is the first programme of its kind in India.
