Making a difference: Panchayat backs anganwadi in AP
The National Advisory Council has said anganwadis can best be rejuvenated by involving the village panchayat and the people. In the last two years the panchayat in Cheemaldara village involved itself actively with the anganwadi providing it support and making it accountable to the people.
