Amarnath Sangharsh Samiti agrees to talk with govt
Finally, there are some positive signs from Jammu, where the protests were not as violent and the Amarnath Sangharsh Samiti, which has been leading the agitation. The Samiti has said that it is willing to talk to the government. Though Jammu remains shut over the Amarnath land transfer row, the protests were not as shrill on Thursday. On Saturday, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and Home Minister Shivraj Patil will lead a high-powered delegation to the state.
