Ancient temple excavated in Assam village
Once upon a time, the villages along the Macenzie Road, leading to Bhutan, were affluent British tea estates. While at present, they are underdeveloped and face acute unemployment. However, in the last few weeks, Jaljali village has seen more visitors than it has in the last hundred years because of the emergence of a Shiv temple from under a pond.
