AP residents refuse to go to relief camps
As Andhra Pradesh battles the fury of the Krishna river, more than 50,000 people in the Krishna district have been evacuated to relief camps. However, there are those who believe that their home is their safest bet and have decided to stay back, for instance, residents of the Krishna Lanka village near Vijayawada city, which has nearly 500 homes by the side of river Krishna.
