Arabic is catching up in India
If you want to hear Arabic spoken in India the best bet is a classroom in a madrassa of Uttar Pradesh or Bihar. It is common to find the Quran, the Hadis and other Islamic religious texts being taught to kids in Arabic at such places. And some students pick up the language quite well even though the teaching is rather academic.
