Bandh called in Jammu over Amarnath row
Political parties have called for a bandh in Jammu on Thursday as protests escalate over the transfer of forestland to the Amarnath Shrine Board. Three people have died in the protests since Tuesday and more than a 150 injured. The issue could even see the fall of the state government with the PDP threatening to pull out of the coalition.
