Bangalore in need for more power
While politics in the capital might be hotting up, Bangaloreans are feeling the heat in more ways than one. Erratic load shedding for more than five hours in most parts of Bangalore have only highlighted the state's dire need for more power. The state uses over 140 million units of power daily and is now facing a shortage of over 700 MW.
