Baragram village in Bengal's Purulia district is torn between West Bengal and Jharkhand, as it straddles the border between the two states. Only six of its houses are in Jharkhand, while the rest are in West Bengal. But Jharkhand has disowned the six houses, because of which the residents have neither water nor electricity.
