BJP objects to inclusion of chapter on Gujarat riots
The new Class XII syllabus for the next academic session may include controversial issues like the Gujarat Riots, the Ayodhya dispute and the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. This is being done under the National Curriculum Framework to include important events that have influenced the country's political process post independence.
