Builders plan Mumbai's makeover
The dilapidated buildings of south Mumbai have been a nagging eyesore for many years, as repair and redevelopment have not kept pace with the frequency of collapses. Now, a consortium of private developers have proposed to rebuild 212 acres currently housing 96,000 people to change the face of the city that seems to be ridden with loopholes in the fine print.
