Centre agrees for talks with Gorkha leaders
The Centre has agreed to talk to Gorkha leaders agitating in Darjeeling but External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee has ruled out any talks on their demand for a separate Gorkhaland state. Meanwhile, West Bengal's Left front government has failed to convince leaders of the Gorkhaland movement to come for talks with the Chief Minister on the Darjeeling crisis.
