Chennai rains cause havoc, five dead
Chennai city experienced 19 cms of rain overnight, which was a total collapse of the storm water drain system in the southern city. The inundation, which was earlier confined to the outskirts, has now spread to many low-lying areas within the city causing severe hardship to residents.
