Cong roots for Speaker, Left wants him to quit
Even as the Left begins its nationwide campaign against the government - it is facing some embarrassment because of reports of trouble within its ranks. In particular, Speaker Somnath Chatterjee who is being pressed to resign by his party, though he apparently does not want to do so. So far, Chatterjee has stood firm but the CPM could now force him to relent.
