Dalits, Adivasis marching to Delhi
Nearly 27,000 people from across 18 states are marching to Delhi to demand their rights to land and livelihood. This Janadesh rally organized by Ekta Parishad, a grassroots coalition, includes Dalits and Adivasis, many displaced by so-called developmental projects and they are pressing for a comprehensive land policy, and rights to water and forests.
