EC to meet political parties on J&K polls
The Election Commission will convene a meeting of political parties later on Monday to know their views on the possibility of holding Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. Elections are due in the state later this year but after the recent turmoil over the Amarnath land issue, the EC wants the views of political leaders before arriving at a decision.
