Efforts on to restore historic temple
The famous Thousand Pillar Temple in Warangal is crumbling because it was built almost 900 years ago on a base of sand. In fact, the grand 132-pillar Kalyana Mandapam had to be dismantled by the Archaeological Survey of India because it was in an utterly dilapidated condition.
