Family accused of witchcraft beheaded
The silence at Kachari labour lines in Sadharu division of the Shakomato tea estate in Sonitpur is ominous. On Saturday, a family of five was decapitated here by tea garden workers who believed the family cast spells on people doing well and killed them. Sixty-year-old Amir Munda, his two sons and two daughters were summoned to a kangaroo court on Saturday morning, declared guilty and by afternoon, the court executed its verdict.
